A child’s social and emotional development is too important to leave to chance. The JCC of Greater Washington's Early Childhood Education (ECE) program — including Preschool, T/K and Kindergarten — is a place where families and their children grow and learn together in a nurturing Jewish Community.

Our professional and caring staff crafts a variety of learning experiences that allow every child to discover and construct knowledge about the world they live in, building skills and understanding as they progress. Children become motivated and enthusiastic learners through a curriculum that is driven by their interests. Jewish holidays, customs, traditions and values come alive through the hands-on experiences that are at the heart of our program. In addition, we encourage children to express themselves through a variety of creative art and music programs. We create childhood memories, Judaic and secular. 

Established at the JCCGW over 40 years ago, our preschool offers a play-based curriculum, with an emphasis on Jewish values to broaden children’s horizons having their first experience in a structured school environment. We provide a wide range of class offerings for children in preschool through transitional-kindergarten and kindergarten plus an Inclusion Program. We are a non-profit preschool, operated under the guidance of a Board of Directors appointed by the JCCGW. All preschool programs are licensed and certified by the Maryland State Department of Education. Contact 301-348-3839 or preschool@jccgw.org.
