Volunteer Opportunities
JCC volunteers are active, dedicated people of all ages. More than 900 volunteers participate on an ongoing or temporary basis, staffing the Kass Judaic Library and Goldman Art Gallery; teaching Gerber Seminars; and assisting with active retiree programs, member services and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes. They staff citizenship workshops, serve as ushers and box office support staff, and aid in the production of Center mailings, special needs programming and special events. They also volunteer in Health & Fitness programs, Ganon Gil Preschool and Kindergarten, and many other areas.
For information about volunteering, contact Gloria Derkay (adults) at 301-348-3740; or Eva Cowen (special needs programs) at 301-348-3881.
