Jewish Family Living and Learning

A child's social and emotional development is too important to leave to chance. It is essential to capture a child's imagination from the beginning. Ganon Gil Preschool uses a hands-on Judaic approach. We encourage children to express themselves through creative art and music programs, and we make our holidays, customs, traditions and values come to life.

We challenge, enlighten and broaden children's horizons through a wide variety of experiences provided by a professional and loving staff. All Ganon Gil programs are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), certified by the Maryland State Department of Education and/or licensed by the Maryland Department of Human Resources and the Child Care Administration.

GANON GIL PRESCHOOL MISSION STATEMENT
Ganon Gil is the only area preschool and kindergarten to pilot JCC Association's An Ethical Start™ curriculum, which uses selected teachings of Pirke Avot (lessons of our fathers) to teach Jewish values and ethics. An Ethical Start has materials for parents, teachers and children, including a professionally recorded CD, a family participation guide, illustrated children's books and a wonderful character named Peer K™. Explorer, who is the children's guide to Pirke Avot.
