Swim Classes, Lessons & Clubs

The JCC of Greater Washington offers swim classes, swim lessons, and swim clubs for all ages and skill levels. Learn to swim, refine your strokes, or build endurance—it’s all possible at the JCCGW.

Private & Semi-Private Lessons

Private (one student per instructor), semi-private (two students per instructor) are available in 30 minute increments. American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification
Register Sundays, February 23-April 27
This course will help you develop skills and experience that will be valued by colleges and future employers. Colleges and employers look for applicants who can deal effectively with people, who have a take charge attitude and are willing to work to develop new skills. Upon successful completion of this course, you will be certified in Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR/AED for Lifeguards.

 

Aquatic Group Fitness

Free to members, the JCCGW’s aquatic group fitness classes—including Aqua Zumba, Flex & Stretch, Aerobics, and Deep Water Jogging—are low-impact total body workouts ideal for all ages. For more information on aquatic group fitness, contact Megan Riggs at mriggs@jccgw.org or 301-348-3710.
