By establishing an endowment fund you are assuring the future financial stability of the JCCGW. Once an endowment fund reaches a minimum of $5,000, the fund will be formally established. Click here for a list of current JCCGW Endowment Funds and more information.

Donate to Car-J

Instead of trading in your old car, consider donating it to the Car-J program. All car donation proceeds benefit the JCCGW, the Jewish Council for the Aging (JCA), and the Jewish Foundation for Group Homes (JFGH). To learn more about donating a vehicle to Car-J, please contact us at 301-348-3815 or development@jccgw.org.

Donated Goods

The JCCGW appreciates and values donated items.

If you wish to donate items please contact us at (301) 348-3815 or at donations@jccgw.org and complete the attached form.

According to IRS regulations, you will not be allowed to declare the value of your donation from our acknowledgment. Your donation saves the Center dollars which we are able to apply directly to support programs and services to benefit those we serve.

Every year, the Jewish Community Center of Greater Washington (JCCGW) receives many applications for financial assistance for children to attend the Center’s pre-school and this year is no exception. These requests come from families who are facing economic burdens such as unemployment, limited income, illness, or disability.

For Preschool Parents:
At the time when your child first enrolled in the preschool, you provided a $500 deposit that is scheduled to be returned to you when your child graduates from the preschool. This year, we are asking you to consider donating all, or a portion of, your deposit to help provide financial assistance to preschool families in need. Whether $18 or $500, your gift will help make a difference, not in the life of a stranger, but in the life of one of your child’s classmates or maybe even friends. Please take a moment to make your gift today.

Community Investment Tax Credit (CITC)

Businesses and individuals that donate to the JCC of Greater Washington’s Early Identification and Intervention program can earn tax credits equal to 50% of the value of their money, goods or real property contribution. To learn more about our CITC program please click here for our brochure.
