2009 – 2010 Polinger Artists of Excellence Concert Series

A 19-year-old Armenian cellist, Narek Hakhnazaryan won First Prize in the 2008 Young Concert Artists International Auditions. He made his debuts in October 2008 at Carnegie's Zankel Hall in New York and the Kennedy Center's Terrace Theater in Washington, D.C. "To the very end, Mr, Hakhnazaryan's intense focus and expressive artistry never flagged." (New York Times) The program will include works by Schumann, Brahms and Britten.
