The JCC Preschool is a place where families and their children grow and learn together in a nurturing, inclusive Jewish setting. From JCC Preschool through T/K and Kindergarten, and after-school programming, we strive to foster a positive sense of self for each child. We encourage children to express themselves through creative art and music activities and we make our holidays, customs, traditions and values come to life. The JCC Preschool builds the foundation to create childhood memories, both Judaic and secular. Half-Day Preschool (10 Month Program)
Age 2-4 years. Class meets Monday through Friday from 9:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. the first week of September through the second week of June. A three-day-a-week option is offered for 2-year-olds. Additional child-care options are available, including drop-off at 7:30 a.m. and extended day options until 4 p.m. or 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
For children who turn 2 before December 31, 2010, there are two options: Mazel Tots, a two-morning-a-week program with a parent co-op component, and Transition Twos, a five-morning program that allows children to begin preschool the day they turn 2 years old. Children who participate in the Mazel Tots and Transition Twos program are required to enroll in the 2-year-old program for the 2010/2011 school year.
Full-Day Preschool (12 Month Program)
Age 2-4 years. Class meets daily from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. year-round. For children who turn 2 between September 1, 2010 and December 31, 2010, there is a Transition Twos program, a five-morning program that allows children to begin preschool the day they turn 2 years old. Children who participate in the Transition Twos program are required to enroll in the 2-year-old program for the 2011/2012 school year. During the summer months, instructional swim is offered in the 3- and 4-year-old program.
Transitional Kindergarten (T/K)
For children who have completed a program for 4-year-olds, “young 5s” who need an extra year to prepare for kindergarten in a small nurturing environment with skillful, caring teachers. Classes meet daily from 9:15 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. August 30-June 10.

New! HoliDaycare for Jewish Holidays
Age 2-5 years. Childcare is being offered from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. for ECE parents during certain Jewish holidays. Space is limited. $70 per day (no prorated fee for early pick up).
