Rosh Hodesh: It's a Girl Thing
Grade 8-9. Rosh Hodesh is a fantastic program — based on the Jewish tradition of women's new moon celebration — that builds self-esteem, leadership skills, Jewish identity and friendships. In an empowering setting, girls can support each other and learn while having fun. Topics include creating and maintaing positive relationships, aquiring public speaking skills, learning how to be an agent of change, Jewish global citizenship, having a relationship with Israel, finding and using your voice and forming your own identity.
