The JCC strives to help families create a strong sense of Jewish identity in their homes and to feel part of the JCC community by offering family programs which celebrate our heritage and Israel. We teach about Jewish holidays, traditions, customs and rituals in an informal, fun and creative way.

 

A wide array of adult classes, workshops and seminars are offered to our diverse JCC population, including Hebrew language classes, contemporary Israel lectures, and Jewish history and archaeology programs. In conjunction with Yiddish of Greater Washington, the JCC also celebrates Yiddish culture through lectures, music, plays and film.
 

The JCC celebrates Jewish holidays with our annual Sukkot, Chanukah and Purim festivals, attracting hundreds of families for food, fun and games. The JCC also highlights Israeli and Jewish artists in the Goldman Art Gallery.
